First i must point out that this is a 180sx not a 200sx, due to the fact that the title was unavailable, it is a late model s13 model with the much sought after sr20det engine fitted as standard. It was an import and i was the first uk owner so i had many problems with it once i had bought it all down to the previous owner cutting corners, the japanese dont look after tuner cars quite as well as i thought. How is it when it has no problems? very good i think, the build quality is good as you would expect from a japanese car, the interior is a nice place to be as long as there is no more than 2 people in the car. This is a 4 seater but the rear bench is for show only really, you really do struggle to fit 4 people in this car, my suggestion is make your passengers walk, they will appreciate you more. The engine, by far the most important part of this car, it outputs around 205bhp @6000rpm with a torque figure of 202 ft.lbf @4000rpm in stock form which is enough to have a decent amount of fun in, one of my favorite things about this car is the fact that you can hear the turbo spooling up when you give it some. One thing i have noticed is that this car seems to find boost whatever rpm you are at, its not overly laggy, its not great but its not bad either. I have only minimal engine modifications (dump valve, intake, uprated plugs and screamer pipe) but it can keep up with impreza turbos on the strip which i think is very impressive. I have two big problems with this car though, one of which is the brakes which are hopelessly inadequate, if any hard braking is needed they have no power, they fade and start to judder. My seccond big problem is with the suspension, it wallows in the corners so badly its not even funny, the suspension seriously unsettles the car when driving at speed, even the slightest input will provoke weight shift on a massive scale which can land you in a huge amount of trouble. One thing to bear in mind with this car is that it will go sideways extremely easily even with its lack of an active lsd, it is possible to drive very fast point to point in this car but you really do have to be awake to get the most from it, if you want to be lazy buy a subaru or something 4wd, in the wet be really really careful, this car will try to go sideways while driving down a straight if you apply the wrong amount of power. My summary of this car would be: A great car with an epic engine with countless tuning potential, if you want to go sideways this is the car for you. just change the brakes and suspension first yeah?

For a 12 year old 2.0 liter non-turbo it's decently quick. Handles pretty well...a little body roll and a bit of a vicious understeer. It's well built...has some noises here and there but mainly due to things that are my fault or just age and harsh weather. It's not much of a looker stock...for a sporty coupe(my biggest problem is it's front...a bit of a butterface)It get's over 20mpg city...and that's with me and my need to speed. Repairing parts is above average but not overly high. It's a fun little car...it'd just be more fun with more power and rear wheel drive. =D

i love this little car. its not the fastest thing in the world but it definitly is fun to drive. my advice is to spend the money and make surte you get the 2.0L model or get the previous gerneration with the 2.0L motor

Great car. Base sr20de n/a motor is a great starter and . hands down quick, but a swap to a sr20 Blue Bird is amazing. Couple that with a VE headswap and you have a wicked fun car. Not too expensive and no one sees it coming, much less obvious then most tuner cars. There is a definite lack of after market parts how ever but the challenge is part of the fun of owning this car.

first time i saw this car it was amazing to me back then even the stock rims look good on it it was comfy for me i would step on it to push it and it responded it handled its weight well on turns a good car to be for a first time driver
