Driving this FTO is an absolute joy. My 1996 GPX (2000CC V6 Manual MIVEC) handles beautifully and has plenty of speed. The acceleration does not put you back in your seat - there are definately faster cars out there - but it is more than enough, and you get some extra boost at 5500 revs when the MIVEC kicks in. It is an absolutely beautiful car and turns plenty of heads.

I bought this car because I wanted something easy to drive to and from work but have fun with on the weekends. It did pretty much what I wanted, it was confortable on the motorway in full auto and fun to use on the lanes in tiptronic. Was put together nicely, only needing tyres and pads.....untill the gearbox gave up. In the end it would have cost too much to fix and ended up being broken up fo spares. Shame, nice car up till that.

all around good car, wouldnt suggest it for a first car due to costs etc. but driveability is top level, braking and acceleration i cannot flaw, handling due to lines and angle of car thru downforce etc and being front wheel drive very responsive...all around great car.

GPX Version. 197 bhp, with bozzspeed rear spoiler, 17'' alloys, 4'' Powerflow exhaust, ITG Induction kit.

Typical mitsi, everything just clips together perfectly inside, making modifying very easy. Good engine but lacks the performance to match the looks
