Performance is virtually non existing. It is kind of slow, the braking is acceptable and the handling is horrible (I have to mount a rear roll bar.) I made quite a lot of repairs on the car, intake gasket changed, changed the brakes all the way around. had to change both left wheel bearings. Changed the left driveshaft boot. The appearance. Well it's a Volvo, It is designed like a brick. One really good thing about it is that it is a very practical car, the boot is huge for the size of the car and you can fit 5 grown up men in it. Cost of ownership. The spare parts are quite expensive but it does around 13km/l so that is alright. Fun Factor. Non existing, it almost killed my enthusiasm for cars.

- Performance: Nothing surprising in it's performance; about 8-9s 0-100km/h, nothing wrong with brakes.. Handling is precise, even too precise when driving 60km/h or faster. - Build Quality: Only some minor repairs; right front door's footlist detached, left side mirror's adjustment plug snaped. Ofcourse there's been some normal repairs for a car this old, such as dampers, engine seals, gearbox was replaced some while ago, etc.. - Appearance: I'd say this looks better from outside than inside, though both interior and exterior are very basic looking. - Cost of Ownership: Eats oil as any older car, and consumes about 6-7l/100km on highway speeds. - Fun Factor: Not really; this car is for old people, who enjoy calm (slow) and easy rides. Only have this as temporary vehicle at the moment.
