Began my appreciation for Hyundais. Made during the last years of Hyundai "poor quality" period, it gave me no problems whatsoever. I got it at about 180,000 kilometers, I think I sold it at around 250,000. I also thought it was a relatively attractive car as well - better than the Japanese cars the same age - and I think it's aged well. Has a bit of Jag to the design. Looks nice and fluid with bulging wheel wells. Underpowered though, and the auto transmission wasn't very bright at choosing gears. The car is a rarer, 4 cylinder version of the GLS - no leather or sunroof either.
