Despite being out of production for over ten years the 91-97 Thunderbirds remain a favortie of mine for the comfort and style they offered. having owned a 91 and a 95 I have never had any mechanical problems and despite a devestating accident in one myself and my wife were left uninjured. A good starting vehicle for a young driver today.

This was an incredibly fun car. The same durable drivetrain as a Crown Vic or Mustang in an intermediate size. Looks great, handles very nicely, and just feels well built. I wish I hadn't crashed it...

This is a good looking ride, good performance, acceleration and handling. Have had some problems with transmission slipping, poor on gas milage but you don't buy a car like this for gas milage. had the car since new, with 75,000 miles on it.

What I dislike about the car is the lack of space when your trying to work on the engine, install spark plugs, spark plug cables. You got to take off the air systems completely, then take off the alternator just so you can even begin to take off the spark plug cables.
Accelerates fine. Would be better if the car had 3.27 or 3.55 gear ratio in the rear-end, or like police cars have a 3.73 in it.

I like everything about it.. I have had it for almost 15 years, without any really major problems eaxept for replacing the Fan in 2001. It's a fun car to drive, and I know everything about it! It's Awesome Ride.:-)
