Used Ford E-Series for Sale Nationwide

(4 reviews)I bought my van in 2003 for work. I bought it from a bookstore which was downsizing their company and the van was in great condition. The 5.8l engine has plenty of power and I love the limited slip rearend, when I go on jobsites that are somewhat sandy and I see other E-150 or E-250 which did not come with or was an option for limited-slip all stuck. I've added lighted running boards, lighted bumper sticks, magnaflow exhaust, K&N air filter, and a performance chip from JET. I bought it with 133,000 mi on it and now has 202,000. I'm just now starting to experience problems with the tranny. Hard shifts. I'm going to install a shift correction kit in the valve body first to see if this helps prolong the tranny before a complete rebuild. Engine, knock on wood has been A+. The engine itself no problems, just replaced parts due to wear like, waterpump, radiator ( my I suggest using a Modine radiator), battery, wipper motor, ball joints, brakes, shocks. I had extra springs added to rear leaf springs from Tampa Springs and WOW what a difference! No more rear van sags due to cargo weight and it drives safer. ( I can steer again) If you are going to keep weight in the cargo area have this done. This is a great all around work van or whatever van.
truck in very good shape air ,tires, brake pads no dents everything is good, all of the front end has been replaced tie rods and shocksand new tires and air condition is very cold and it has two side doors and two rear doors.
It was a good van and had 347000 miles on it when I sold it. sad to see it go. It was pokey and noisey. you could tell it was my van. It had lots of cargo space and stored alot of my stuff.
When I was a small boy, my family owned a 1978 Chevrolet Suburban, complete with a towing package and a 454 with a 4-barrel carburetor. Man, that thing would pass anything except a gas station... Our family was perfectly balanced: Mom, Dad, me, the Suburban. There was enough money to keep everyone satisfied. Then the twins were born, upsetting the delicate balance between man and woman and boy and Suburban. Shortly after moving to Crawfordsville from Stockwell, we faced the dilemma of paying for a house, food for two extra mouths, and fuel for the tank, er, Suburban. Sensing our woes, the Van Gods smiled on us. That year, we (tearfully) traded in the Suburban for a brand new E-150 with a Tiara Motor Coaches conversion package. Sure, we've had a few problems with her over the years, but all in all, our van has been a blessing from Vanhalla.
