ok people, I jus bought a 1995 Audi 90 during a Chicago snow storm. My friend who took me to get the car was driving a new Mercedes and her car couldn't handle the snow/slush. Once I got in the Audi 4wd, i tested it and it was awesome on the road, pushing through the snow with no problems. Started up like a champ, drove better than Mercedes according to my friend. I'm happy thus far.
