(42 reviews)The current auto love of my life. I love this car! It's a joy to drive and a joy to look at! The performance of this car is tops! From the 2.5L 24-valve 6- cylinder engine to the quad- disc brakes, 5-speed manual transmission, this car just screams sporty! The only problem I have with it is the fact that it's front-wheel drive... This should have been a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle. It would have been more comparable to the other cars in its class (Eclipse, Celica, MX-6, etc.). But for being front-wheel, its still pretty impressive. I guess the other problem I have with it is its size. It's a bit too big in my opinion... The car itself really isn't that big, but making it the size of an Integra, Prelude, or Celica would have worked out better. The build quality is awesome! Although the engine compartment is really crowded, but it's not bad. The appearance of the inside and outside is just sexy! Very simplistic and smooth. There isn't a whole lot of stuff going on with the car to make it complicated. Just simple and clean. For being a '94 body style, it still fits well with current cars. So far the only problem I've had with the car was the alternator. But got the taken care of and everything is fine. The one truth that remains about most Ford cars is that they're always fun to drive! I've owned this car for about two years now and I still love driving it!
The car is alright. It is functional and looks stylish. I haven't had it very long, but it over-heats a lot. I'm hoping that once I replace the thermostat, this will no longer be an issue
Super good car reliable had 4 years no major problems that i didnt cause lol
Performance- high end power, handling, braking, top speed Build Quality- interior seems cheap, maybe because two owners back the person didn't put it back together right Appearance- love the front and sides, tail lights suck overall a great and fun car
I loved my Ford Probe. It was my first brand new car, I bought it off the lot in 1994. It was the 4-cylinder version with a manual tranny, and I think it only had about 115 horses, so it was no drag racer. But it handled really well (except when it rained) and was a lot of fun to drive. As a musician, I could also fit an amazing amount of stuff into it. I added a cold-air intake and a set of 16" aluminum wheels to it; the intake definitely improved both performance and fuel efficiency, so it's a no-brainer. I also added the manual sunroof and some limo tinting, which made it look pretty sleek without being overdone. The car was very reliable for me, with few problems, almost nothing major. I kept it for almost 10 years, and it had a lot of mileage when I finally put it on eBay and sold it to a kid in North Dakota (who probably subsequently trashed it.)
