It was great when I needed to move from Texas to California! Very reliable! It made the long trip back and forth from Texas to California several times with no problems.

This truck is well built and will last a long time based on what i've seen of others. Mine is currently going on 200,000 miles and still trucking along great. The engine and drive train on this little truck is rugged and sturdy, built to last for sure. The back seats are really only good for a less than 15 minutes. My truck has a lift kit and big tires so that's why I say the fuel economy isn't so hot, however I have run this truck incredibly hard off road and beat it to what I thought was the breaking point but nothing broke. I can't say anything else except in impressed with how sturdy it is.

I love that this truck has all metal parts on the body. It has some dents and dings, but it's no big deal because I don't have to baby it...it's a truck after all. Needs a bit more room in the cab. On icy roads, the real wheel drive causes the wheels to spin, so if you expect ice, load up the bed with heavy things to get traction.

Performance: Acceleration is mediocre, braking is great (but no ABS), and handling is great for a truck. Build Quality: Great! It is built light but well. 19 years old and never broken down once. No squeaks except for the occasional squeaky bushing in the suspension, which is easily fixed by some WD40. Appearance: I personally think this truck is styled extremely well compared to its competitors. Interior is simple, but it has everything you need and everything is well placed on the dash. Cost of Ownership: The in-town gas mileage of this pickup is very good for a pickup, but not as good as a 4 cylinder car. The 5th gear in this truck is not very tall, so at highway speeds the engine runs pretty briskly, which in turn doesn't result in great highway mileage. If you are commuting long distances on the highway with this pickup, don't expect more than 20 mpg. However, if you are mainly going to be in town, you can expect upwards of 23 mpg. As far as maintenance is concerned, this truck doesn't cost much to fill with gas, or change the oil. Parts come relatively cheap, and you will rarely need them. This truck is extremely reliable. Fun Factor: As far as trucks go, this truck is a blast. It is way more agile than any other truck I've ever driven.
