I loved my VW because it got great gas mileage, it was sporty and small so it hugged the curves in Colorado well and it had great get up and go for a four cylinder. I love German engineering and you can't get much better performance or horse power from and eight valve engine. Plus the added enjoyment of a convertible top on the highway or around town never hurts. I would recommend this car to anyone who enjoys driving on mountain passes for the best gas mileage possible in a gasoline powered engine and a little touch of unique styling for a relatively affordable price.

its a fast little bastard. i was going 115 in 5th gear and had more peadal left. it costed me $1500 and a o2 senor. i filled up and $35 and it gave me a full tank and it lasted me two weeks.

Not a fast one yet but thinking wat engine conversion to go with.Got 2 vr6+transmissions but i feel that this conbination will be to heavy on the chassis maybe a 2.0 16 v turbo will be the righ cobination!
