I have had no issues until it not selecting gear other than that they are a good car.

Car runs excellent with very minimal maintenance. I once had an 89 Ford proble with the same Mazda engine in it and had the same wonderful experience. The styling of the car is dated, but hey it's 16 years old. It's decent on gas after all this time, handles and accellerates well, and I think I have spent maybe $150 in three years in addition to the $500 to purchase it. Not bad since that's about 2 car payments.

almost 7 yrs of ownership still love it. decent mileage a minor engine problem that is keeping the mileage down. overall still real happy

Reliable car with good accessories. Too bad it got crashed.
