Good truck. Engine and tranny were amazing, although rust was a problem. Rocker panels and floors were rusted, but not rotted through, yet. 4wd worked perfectly. Very stable offroad, did not rock or sway. Was even stable on highway at high speeds.

My '91 Cherokee is a great vehicle, has a ton of power, the low end torque is off the hook, i'll burn out on accident often. It's from 1991 and still runs like a champ. I'm only annoyed with my breaks that i've recently been having problems with, the ABS has been slipping and the overall apparent reason of the 10ish mpg. That is the worst thing about this jeep.

This is a great 4x4! can put 5 people and gear in it and go any where you will wont to go. Mine has a 3 inch lift and 33 inch tires on it so that makes it a little easyer to get around off road. however it also takes away from gas milage. It does preform very well on rode to tho most people have it in there heads that jeeps are just roll overs waithing to happen that is not true they are very stable in corners.

Performance: it does everything it is supposed to do handling sucks but hey its an SUV they just don't handle good. Build Quality: it has some flaws for sure shock mounts are in a terrible location and the bolts if rusted are pretty much impossible to remove it they break off due to the fact they go into the inclosed frame/subframe simply a bad idea its had some minor issues mostly due to it hard life from its pervious owners who apparently like to go mudding alot and never washed it afterwards. I can't brag it up b/c it was in crappy shape when I got it. Appearance: new there nice looking SUVS mine had seen alot of abuse and wasn't a show vehicle. Cost of ownership: it was pretty cheap to own that 4.0L is my favorite jeep engine and I would never trade it for any other great power and reliability gas mileage I would say was around 18 MPG highway. Fun Factor: it was my favorite vehicle I have owned so far did everything good even a chick getter why i don't know. good memories would buy another one if the price was right.
