Light, and with the mods I have, super quick. Quick handling, and with a little money thrown at it, rides like it's on rails. I look forward to the commute to/from work every day I get to drive this car.

Great mileage, very sexy, but also pretty slow. It had a 72 HP engine but got 40+ MPG. Only a two seater so it was great for explaining why I couldn't be the designated driver. Huge "trunk" in the hatch area.

I only wish Honda Continued making cars like this. Yes there are similarities in the 2000 Insight and the New 2009 Insight sedan but those two models is not as mught fun as the CRX. You can modified the CRX to endless possibilities. However I like mine stock as this CRX has personelly been tested ranging from 38 MPG CITY and 62 MPG HIGHWAY. The New 2009 CRX Cannot beat that MPG. I think I read an Article from Automobile May-July 2009 magazine reviewed the Original CRX HF 1984 vs. 2009 Insight. They said the original CRX HF gets better MPG than the new 2009 Insight. Although weight plays another part. Since 1985 CRX HF only weighs 1,700 lbs vs 3,000 lbs 2009 Insight.

I love my CRX HF. But I hate the engine. The stock engine is a dog. Cannot travel well in the mountains. Cheap to run though and really a blast to drive. Gets 50 MPG on the highway. Going to upgrade engine to a V- tech or a turbo engine. No parts availability for smog on standard engine. Developed idle problem and costs to fix is high. So Vtech here I come. Body has standard rust problems. Had to replace seats because of holes. Fun to work on though.
