My first car, and the last Lincoln I'll ever own.

Land shark with loads of luxury but no get up and go. Handled like a brick for the most part (in town), on the highway it was much better, but still not a fun zippy soulful experience.

1990 Motor Trend Car of the Year. The last year of the underpowered push- rod 5.0L. ABS was optional (was made standard in 91). Handles like a boat and is the perfect car for long trips, it is very quiet and the rear seat is very plush. The overall quality of the car is exceptional, one of the highest quality cars ever made, latter years got cheaper and poorer quality. I average 14/21 city/highway. I occasionally tow my Baja Bug and get 15-18 on the freeway while towing. I change the oil every 4k with Motorcraft synthetic blend 10w- 30. The suspension is very soft so it cruises very well and the rear air spring keep it level no matter what you haul/tow.
