Used Cadillac Cars for Sale near Laval, QC

Well I picked up the Caddy for $500 because it wasn't running, and the owner had died & the family wanted to get rid of it. All it really needed was a new battery, fresh gas and a small piece of new fuel line. It started right up, and I drove it to my mechanic. Anyway, overall I would have to say I would absolutely LOVE it if it didn't have such a weak motor - and leather seats ( Hate leather in the summer )- and the fact that it had been rear-ended & they did a crappy body job, but I mean the Olds 307 is a reliable engine, it's just.. it BARELY has enough getup to pass on the highway. Around town it's fine, good throttle response, good acceleration, but once you get past 45 - 50mph and it becomes a SLUG! Maybe they should've used the 305, at least with that motor you can easily add good horsepower. With the 307, gas mileage is... okay, for such a heavy car. Coasting ability is excellent. Smog crap and emissions crap really choke the engine, so I'm gutting the cat and I already disconnected the smog pump. Basically needs a new exhaust system (Headers, dual exhaust, hi-flow mufflers) and I believe that will benefit the tired ( Mine has 203k miles on it, see it IS reliable! ) engine that lugs a 4,000+ pound car around!

this was my first car. it was big, slow and blue. in the picture it is painted up like the bluesmobile for my high school homecoming parade. this car, like i stated above, was an absolute beast. i used and abused this car worse than probably any other cadillac has ever been before, and it just kept on coming back for more. it never, ever quit on me, never left me stranded, and was always ready for the next stunt or adventure...and there always was one. i made people laugh, cry, and scream in this car because of the insane things i would do behind the wheel. maybe i was just lucky, or maybe someone up there likes me, but i attribute getting home safely and with a big smile on my face to the quality automobile that was the caddy. it was as comfy as a couch, and i could fit everyone that that dared go for a ride in that car too. it was very slow, horribly underpowered by the general motors 5.0 liter small block v-8 engine, that was so bogged down with emissions equipment, and given its smaller size to begin with, it could barely get out of its own way. but nonetheless, on multiple occasions that car was getting more air than michael jordan. i wish i had pictures, because it truly was a thing of beauty. all i can say, is that i love and miss this car very much. i took it for granted while i had it, a common mistake most young drivers make with their first car. i know now though that it is in a better place, enjoying a much deserved retirement in that great big parking lot in the sky.

Not the most powerful car I have ever driven..not even close. That being said, it is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever owned. The fact that the car is 21 years old and everything on it works is a miracle in itself. I inherited it from my wife's grandfather, who put 220,000 miles on it. I hope to put at least another 100,00 on there before the car and I part ways.

Nice looking car, nice looking interior. Interior quality is not on par with the Lincoln Town Cars that I've owned, and performance is woefully lacking. To date, I've achieved 24 mpg highway woth it, just the way I got it. 43,000 miles, and stock everything. I think the cat is needing a change, for sure. A full tuneup, suspension and exhaust upgrades are slated, along with tinting the windows and adding neons and an upgraded stereo. L.E.D.'s will be installed behind the wheels, unles I go for more light there. I have always wanted one of these Cadillacs, although a 1975 or 1976 woulld have been more to my choosing. At the least, this car seems to require a 350, as opposed to the 307 that came in it. It seems woefully underpowered. Hopefully, I can get an injected 350, or something better in it.
