Unless you live in a metropolotin area, repair may become a bit of a problem. Seems that specialized tools are needed to do some repairs. The front headroom is limited if you are a tall person. Generally, this 30 year old car drives like a dream and takes few trips to the gas pump. It is like they say...Once you drive a Mercedes, you don't want to drive anything else. Smooth ride, handles like a dream, feels very safe, and has that great classic Mercedes look. I still have some mechanical work that needs to be done on her (change over the AC and at 150K probably should change the timing chain) but I feel that it will be money well spent. She should give another 150K or more, with no problems.
