Poor exceleration, ok handling (a little loose). Good solid body, little surface rust. 4 speed automatic with 4X4 push button transfer. Purchase price: $300 21-23 mpg. Fun to drive if takin it mudding or gravel road drifting and offroading. 4X4 make mud and muck escape pretty easy.

I love first generation S10s, so when the opportunity arose to purchase this it was a done deal. It had a 327 in it, matched to an automatic 4 speed transmission if I remember correctly. Appearance wise not a lot of people would like it, but I like the squared off look of first gens a lot. It was also Hugger Orange, very different to have on an S10. It would've been a very fun truck if it ever got finished before I finished it.
