I have never been a Camaro guy. This 86 was sort of thrust into my lap by my father-in-law. I rode around for 2 months, with For Sale signs on it, to try to sell it for him. After this time I took the signs to him and said 'SOLD!' The car is completely original...116000 miles. 305 'H' 4 speed auto. Steel wheels. A/C. AM/FM Cassette (still working). Handling is excellent with limited body roll. Acceleration is OK, although the timing retards below 1500 RPM and the valves rattle and the car seemingly has no go. This is the Hate It part of the car, (as well as the fact that I'm a smoker and cigarettes tend to loop back into the car, when I discard them, and hit passengers). I pull about 15 miles out of every gallon of regular gas. Overall, it's just a fun daily driver.

currently building a very nice 305 with aftermarker cam headers intake carb exhaust, new stereo. no squeaks or rattles. i ripped out the v6 that was in it because camaro's should have v8's. and yes it was fun to drive when it had the v6 but my v8 engine will put that to shame :D
