This was my first classic car. And what a pearl it was... So much so that is was almost pearl white. It had great handling and power delivery. Really good fun to drive and also managed to be comfortable. It was a pearl and a gem. It was absolutely immaculate, both on the outside and inside. Everything was still original and impeccable, from the floor mats, seats and linings, to the hubcaps. Even the handbook was as good as new. This car marked the beginning of a certain hatred of mine for motorbikes. My father decided to trade it for a sidecar, and I was really sad to see it go. And I'm sure my father also regrets it now.
