Jeep wont start.

Asked by Colton Apr 07, 2017 at 11:53 PM about the 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4-Door RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i try to turn over the vehicle nothing
happens. No cranking or any other noises just
silence. What could be the possible outcome?
Its not the starter relay because ive already
replaced it.

Try an alternator as well look up both suggestions also a distributor cap and rotors

And your battery/battery terminal & terminal wires are good, starter is connected good and tested to work good, Grounds to frame from engine good? Is the engine turning over at all or just nothing?

Battery was good. We tried jumping it to see if that would solve the problem but no. Terminals and wires looked fine to me. All the grounds to the engine were also secured.
