Just had motor put in 2002 grand cherokee overland and when you try to start
it it dies in like 3 sec and the yellow key with line through it lights up.  Keeps
doing it, please help

Just had motor put in my 2002 grand cherokee overland and when you start it it dies in like 3 sec. and the yellow light with the key illuminates on dash. Does it every time, we have been told security system issue. We have tried the turning key combination pattern posted and it didnt work. The key still locks and unlocks door. the jeep did set without battery for several months. Please help.
