How do you know when you need a new lower steering shaft
have you changed the timing belt yet....2000 must have a cajillion miles by now...have you been taking care of our baby?
okay there is a little flexible rubber part called the steering coupler...this buddy can get soft and make turning seem vague and squishy~
I guess this would get crushed if the lower part was seized somehow~ not sure how that mighta happened~
You've got an out of balance wheel or tire...go to "tire pros" or whatever~ a shop that will Balance and give you an alignment if you've got a few extra coins~
