Why was the condenser replaced ? Was it leaking before it was replaced ?

No when I bought the car air conditioner didn't work at all they can't find the leak .is it best to have a shop fill it with refrigerant or is it best to do it by a friend .

Pay $85-100 and have it evacuated, checked for leaks 30mm of vacuum ...and filled with the correct oil PAG,# and amount. Then filled to the correct weight ONLY proper way, of refrigerant 134A. That's what I suggest..

If you put in dye and still can not found the leak outside the leak is most likely in the evaporator in the vehicle in the dash. After putting in condenser and filling with freon how long did it take for the refrigerant to leak out ?

I am going to suggest something that worked for me that some of the guys on this forum will disagree with but try adding some freon stop leak to a.c system you can get from most auto parts stores. It's been two years for me now and still working.

Now this may or may not work but it is worth a try. If you do decide and it does not work the first time try no more then two times.
