Does the car lock even though you hear no beep and see no lights? The lights and beep don't light/sound if any of the doors, the hood or trunk isn't closed all the way. If you are certain that all of these things are completely closed, perhaps you have a faulty door trigger, hood trigger, or trunk latch. Hope this helps.
