Why is my truck shutting off in interstate traffic?

Does it start right back up? Does it run good then all of a sudden shuts off. Is there a starting problem after a fill up? Could be a problem with the EVAP system associated with the fuel system.

Could also be a bad throttle body. I've read that starting with the 2015 model F-150's the part was on backorder do to the number of replacement's needed for those trucks.
