2013 Dodge avenger...

Asked by Dr_SickPickle503 Feb 22, 2019 at 08:24 AM about the 2013 Dodge Avenger R/T FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What could possibly be the issue with my
car if it's an automatic, and when I stop it
dies. There's still power, lights work radio on,
but it's like it shuts itself off. I just got this
car two days ago, should I take it back and
start fresh or is it a minor fix?

If still under some kind of warranty, take it back and let them fix it. As far as being a minor fix, it depends on what is wrong? Have it checked for applicable trouble codes, po as well as manufacturer specific. The first thought was idle issue, it seems your vehicle has drive by wire throttle, any codes relating to that problem?
