Asked by Dan Mar 02, 2016 at 06:47 PM about the 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck overheated, lost power, and died.
When I go to start it it cranks over a couple
times and does nothing else. Is it the lifters
or something else?

Not likely anything to do with the valve lifters. More likely cooling system or fuel related problem. More info needed, please.
