Maybe your engine/oil pump is worn or you might have a bad oil pressure sender but you say the oil light comes on when you accelerate which made me think of low oil level.

I have a 2020 Dodge Caliber while driving the oil cluster icon illuminated on dashboard , also it is making x ping pong sound constantly. Ping ping ping ping Then it shut off while driving , i then started it again and drove the noise starts again. Please help

I had the same issue last week, so I ended up replacing my oil, oil filter and an oil pressure switched. Now everything is back to perfect, in fact it feels as if my engine power has actually increased.
