Chevy blazer 1998

We switched the temperature sensor for antifreeze,  
but when I drive her the heat gage goes to way
high almost to the top highest, it's not leaking
anything it has enough coolant, what can it be? It's
not pulling she runs fine just the needle goes really
high. Help please

you have a air bubble in the system, with engine off remove radiator cap then start the engine run it a 1,500-2,000 rpm and let it work the air out,lifting the front end as high as you can also helps a lot.
