VW Passat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car lights, stereo work. Nothing happens when engine is turned over. Tried
jump start.

Daughter got stranded at friends house.  Car has been driving fine.

Alternator?

Check the oil. If it's low it may not start,(safety mechanism) to prevent engine damage
