I have a 2000 Chevy cavalier and my drive gear
dosent seem to be engaging, my revers works fine
and goes into Nuteral but when I put it in drive and
hit the gas it just revs and goes a little by but
dosent want to move. Hope someone can help
because I'm broke and this was my daily driver to
school and work

Daniel,check the transmission fluid level,in most cases the tranny is bad,but you might change the transmission filter may help,good luck with it.

Thanks for the info. I know this is a very late response as I completely forgot about this site but you were right, the transmission was trash but I was at least able to sell the car for $600 to go towards another
