Trans has a grinding type sound when you
slow down to about 30 miles per
hour,comes from the tail section of
tranny,sifts prefect and no slip ,it's in a 2001
ram 1500 lariat 2 wheel drive,5.2 engine

Jack up the back wheels, have someone sit in the drivers seat n put 'er in gear n listen. These "noises" can sound like they're coming from the front n come from the rear when you're under the truck...good luck!
