Truck won't start

I changed my water pump four days prior while
driving truck it began to stall out and run for about
a mile getting worse like it was out of gas then
finally shut off and now won't start

Unless the truck was badly overheating the water pump would have no bearing on how the engine runs. I would check the fuel filter.
