Sounds like a bare wire giggling around and shorting out, check that coil wire and such didn't pop off. If tilt steering move up and down while trying to start it to see if it catches. Just a slight movement in the wires while someone turn key over to see if it catches would be my 1st step. See if spark is getting to the plugs.

Are you sure it's getting fuel? Many of these newer vehicles have a switch that turns off the fuel pump if it is involved in a collision. That switch is usually close to the fuel tank. I know of vehicles that have hit a large bump, tripping the switch, and coming to a stop just down the road. The switch was reset, and everything was O.K.
