Question type: Maintenance & Repair

4 yrs ago my AC unit went out but had it repaired. Now when I turn on my heater/ defrost it makes a loud clicking noise like something is hitting something around the unit. I still have heat and defrost. when I step on gas the noise goes away and when I turn it off it goes away. Anyone have any suggestions what this could be and how much will it be to fix it?

Sounds as though the blower motor has something stuck in it or the motors bearing is wore out. You need to pull the blower assembly out. Passenger side under the dash behind the glove box.
