Fuel

Asked by Fordguy7 Jul 05, 2017 at 11:26 AM about the 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My gas tank will read correctly, then sometimes it'll
say I have more, or less gas then I actually have.
Then after I drive around for a while, it'll go back to
normal. Is this normal?

Sounds like a sending unit could be a little finicky. Not sure where it is in your truck but worth tracking down and checking connections etc.
