2005 pontiac grand prix

Car cranks and sounds fine but i can drive about
1/4 mile and. It goes in engine limp mode and
traction control goes off the idle crazy and turns
off i can go to my battery take my ground off it
runs about a the same and does it again what
could it be am lost

No codes is showing but i know there is something going on i thinkin about selling for 500 and being down with it

That's one option. Or you could take it to a shop and get it checked out and get a repair estimate. It's just a base model so its not worth spending a bunch of money on it, but it may be something simple or even just wiring that needs going through and fixing. Frankly you'll be lucky to get anything for it if its not driveable.
