2004; Pontiac Grand Prix. Supercharger. Just replaced
battery and me connectors. New waterpump and
thermostat heating connecter elbow pipe. Then a new
serpentine belt. I the mess of all this.. I've taken apart the
whole area from the alternator and everything around and
underneath 5 separate times. 4 times were I'm a 5 day
period. Car has been driving great for about 8 days. Now
out of nowhere. I was driving.. a long distance about 100
miles. And noticed the rpms..kind of jumping then.. car
kinda started getting a little warmer then usual.. keeping
eye on coolant and everything since 5 days being
stranded... Car shut off while driving. Lost power steering.
Stopped, restarted.. drove a couple more blocks and lost
power a couple more times from gas station, around the
way to my friends.. I let the car sit for about hour and half.
Added quart of oil. Half gallon of water,  half tank of gas..
lol..  please car is sitting on highway.

Hard to say without hook the car up to some diagnostic equipment. The RPMS jumping might indicate a transmission issue. It's hard to say, have it towed to a garage for inspection.
