2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driving down the road and when taking my foot off the gas pedal to slow down the car quit running. Attempted to start it up and would run badly for a few seconds and quit running. Have to push pedal down and then flutter the gas pedal to keep it running then it quits running. Got the car home and now it starts right up. leaving it set for a while and we will see if it has stopped doing this. Pulled fuel pump relay and fuse, Both looked good.

Could be a few things but I'd be checking fuel pressure.Could be a fuel pump failing. As usual checking the codes before you start replacing parts is a good idea.
