2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have had (in order of replacement) the radiator, the fan relay, the fan relay and the fan assembly replaced, all in the last 8 months. Today, I see that the radiator fan is not turning again. My mechanic is stumped; can any body help. When working it comes on at about 205 degrees but to me I does not cool the radiator fluid much past 198-200 degree. At what temperature should the fan turn off?

The first place I would start if it hasnt been replaced in the repairs you mention above is, the fan relay SWITCH and WIRING HARNESS on the OEM end. Meaning the portion of the switch/connector that connects the ECM/Alt. to the unit. This switch/wiring assembly can become brittle over the 16 years of heating up and cooling down (in different operating conditions, and weather conditions). I would take a look and ensure that the connections there are good. Whomever replaced the assembly for you, shouldve ensured that the connection was solid however, it was a shifty mechanic they mightve left it unchecked to bring you back into the shop for some more labor hours.
