2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo

I took the drivers side door panel off for a power window issue. In replacing the panel, now the inside door handle will not lay flush and will not release from the inside. The outside releases fine but I can not get the door open from the inside. What can I do?

take it back apart and examine the order of assembly more carefully...examine the way the assembly is held in place loosen the screws...assemble, then tighten those screws~

also, take a look at the links (not lynx) to make sure they are seated properly and are all in place yet~
