Just started knocking always kept up on oo l
changes and other maintenance,  just knocking for
know reason

If it is knocking most likely a bad rod bearing will need engine rebuild. There is something you can try with no promises add some Lucas Engine Oil Stablizer to oil worked for a friend of mine that had slight knock and tap in his engine but like I said no promises it will work for you but it is worth a try.

Lots of possible knocking noises on the 5.2 V8 that are NOT bearing noises. Check the oil pressure if its good, move on to the most likely cause (there are many) Review the jeep forums.
