1990 Ford ranger

My 90 frd rangr started runnin really rough like a blown headgasket... It has needed a tune up for a min. A couple mounths ago I attempted to remove the spk plugs to give my trk a tune up and could not break the plugs loose.I do all the mechanic work on my trk.

There is a lot more to a tune-up than changing out the spark plugs. Spark plugs should just be snugged up, never tightened. You just have to use some force in removing the plugs, and some may break while taking them out. The plugs are turned counter clock wise to come out. You may have to figure out some leverage to get them out.

You may also spray some WD40 or PB blaster onto where plug treads go into motor and let set for a couple of minutes this will help loosen up plug.
