Hopefully all it is, would be a shift solenoid. Should take it to a transmission shop for proper diagnosis.

So you're saying that and maybe the transmission solenoid in the car is not going all the way into gear I didn't understand the full answer to my question how difficult is it to change a solenoid

I am not a transmission re-builder but know symptoms of what is going on with a transmission. For someone who knows, it is not difficult to do. You may need a transmission fluid and filter change also. There is a pressure solenoid in the transmission that if not operating correctly, the transmission oil pressure does not get as high as it should. But a worn transmission can do the same thing. Best thing to do is to go to a good transmission shop to see what they say.

I just recently bought a 2005 Ford Expedition I do not have the owner's manual where would I find the keypad information for the doors and locks on the vehicle

I know that is marked somewhere on the vehicle. Let me find out where and I'll let you know where to look. I know one spot is under the center counsel. Another way to find out is the code is stored in the body control module. So if you went to the dealer, they could figure it out, retrieve the code.

Key code is located on the passenger side up under the dash more toward the corner kick panel, a white sticker with a 5 digit code on it.
