Question type: General

Is there any sports car that is cheaper than others
when it comes to insurance? I am 16 years old and
a boy.I contacted the insurance company and they
told me that I would pay $2476  semi annual for full
coverage on a Gen coupe. Is there any other cars
that would be lower on insurance but still fits into
the sports car column? I researched it and it said
manuals may drive up the price and possibly color,
is this true?

Although it's true that make a model does have an impact on insurance price I think the major factor for your case is the age. So, even if you get a 2 door or a 4 door car it will not matter much, and may be not make any changes. It's just that insurance companies look at age as risk factor.
