STARTED TRUCK THIS MORN. AN OIL PRESSURE WAS
OK I THINK GOT TO MY SONS HOUSE AN GUAGE
READING WAS 80 LBS?????COULD IT B PRESSURE
RELIEF ON OIL PUMP? OR????? IT IS A 2007
CHEVY SILVERADO LT 5.3 327. NO PROBLEMS TILL
THIS HAS 213.000AN CHANGE. PROPER
MAINTENANCE FOR THE LAST 3 YRS. I HAVE HAD
IT. HAD 103 WHEN I GOT TRUCK. MOTOR
COMPARTMENT WAS PRISTINE WHEN I BOUGHT
TRUCK. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

It is a little fine screen under the oil pressure sending unit. Take out the oil pressure sending unit, and fish out the screen like basket. Clean, and re-install. Since you are there may want to replace the oil pressure sending unit. This is a common problem, and this causes only fauls oil pressure readings.
