My car is a 5 speed and it grinds going into 5th
gear for about a week now it is starting to grind
when I down shift to 4th gear

Check the clutch master cylinder to see if the fluid is full. If it is then there may be a problem with the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder. I would have a shop look at this, and to have them try to bleed it out if there are no leaks. It is tricky bleeding out this system, thats why you should have someone who knows to look at this.
