not sure if it would be that, its not a constant thing only when the engine is warm and it not noticable till you rev the motor obviously

is a turbo?

Yea it is, just put a new engine in it. but its still got the old iintercooler and lines, is it possible that it could be residue oil in the intercooler lines. im really hoping that its not the turbo seal cause its the one thing i dont know nuch about.

i hate to say it but check your turbo and everything related to it. a freind of mine had a "sick" eclipse( sick= insane) with a big turbo. if im right his waste gate went bad and had a full charge going to the engine. lets just say he made a new drain hole after that. if you engine runs fine. a turbo is easier to change then the engine.

maybe piston rings, i had a 92 nissan sentra with the same problem and it was the rings

remember he has a turbo and a new engine. if his turbo seal is bad the turbo can suck the engine dry and then you got metal going everywhere. you dont mess with turbos.

just to let you know white smoke from a force fed car usually means a turbo or a blower.

cheers guys, its been very helpful. if there is something wrong with the turbo thats not easily fixable luckly i have a spare one lying around. while we are on the topic of turbos does anyone have any diagrams or pics to that show the vacuum lines on the stock blow off valve and the throttle body?

that should be your valve stem seals. mine does the same thing. not hurting anything, just be sure to check your oil consumption. mine burns a quart every 4 weeks. (it's my DD) hope that helps! -H

look up "banks turbo deisel". thats all they do is turbo kits for pickups. yours isnt a truck but they know turbos.
