Truck won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck will not start I was told it was due to they
key, because it is not the original. I have had this
key for at least 3 months with no problems. I have
had the key tested and it is an encrypted key.
Would this still be the problem for my truck not to
start?

All my lights are on I recently replace the battery last month. No sound when turning over.

No sound meaning it is not turning over? Could be a dead battery, bad alternator or bad battery connections.

Drive my truck a few miles park it for ten minutes go to start it won't start sat for fifteen minutes and starts
