Removing the dash to replace the bulbs burned out and the air bag lamp

Asked by GuruDWCV63 May 05, 2024 at 08:07 PM about the 1999 Ford Ranger XLT Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How difficult is it to remove the dash instrument cluster to replace the air bag
lamp (beeping 5 sets of 5) and the lamp that let you see the instruments like the
fuel, speed etc. I there a great video out there?

U-TOOB may have a video on your project , I don't think you have to worry about the air bag going off . As I remember it's not technical , you start with a few torx screws under the radio area and go from there , Keep track of where each screw came from , Shift handle may have to be moved to get the panel out . There's about 10 bulbs do them all .
